The Yucca is a real sun worshipper that needs little water. This strong outdoor plant likes bright, sunny light and thrives well in dry conditions. In winter, however, the Yucca rostrata is sensitive to too much moisture, which can lead to root rot. Therefore, ensure good drainage in the pot and protect the plant from excess water during the wet months. This will prevent moisture from accumulating and keep your Yucca healthy and sturdy!
Water requirements of the Yucca Rostrata - 200cm
The Yucca rostrata is native to dry areas and is therefore not fond of too much water. As a slow grower, this outdoor plant needs very little water. Still, it is important to check the soil weekly and make sure it does not dry out completely. This will keep your Yucca healthy and give it exactly the care it needs.
Light requirements of the Yucca Rostrata - 200cm
The Yucca Rostrata is a real sunbather and even tolerates direct sunlight. Move the plant as little as possible, as it takes time to adjust to a new spot, which can disrupt growth. This Yucca is hardy to -20°C, but to protect it from persistent frost, we recommend using special covers, cloths or bubble wrap.

Ingestion of the plant is mildly toxic. So beware of this! In addition, the stems and stem are fairly sharp.
