Product Description
The Cycas Revoluta, also known as the sago palm, originally comes from Southeast Asia. This bold outdoor plant brings a tropical atmosphere to your garden. The elegant leaves on its sturdy, robust trunk make the Cycas Revoluta hugely popular.
Care & tips for the Cycas Revoluta
As with most palms, caring for this bold plant isn't very complicated. Water the Cycas Revoluta weekly. Misting the plant isn't essential, but it can be good for the plant's health. Misting also gives the leaves a lovely shine, as the water removes dust and dullness.
How much water does the Cycas Revoluta need?
The Cycas Revoluta likes a little water every week. It's wise to check whether it actually needs it, though. Is the soil still moist? Then wait a while. The plant doesn't appreciate too much water. Make sure the pot has good drainage, so excess water can drain away and you avoid root rot.
How much light does the Cycas Revoluta need?
The palm likes to be in plenty of light. The plant comes from the tropics, where the sun shines very brightly! So give this green beauty a nice spot in the light. Between 3-5 hours of sunlight a day is enough.
Is the Cycas Revoluta toxic?
The Cycas Revoluta is a mildly toxic plant. Ingesting the leaves can cause health problems in children and pets. So do take care!
How is my Cycas Revoluta shipped?
This outdoor plant is delivered in a nursery pot. All our plants are shipped in boxes we designed ourselves: a snug inner fitting keeps the plant firmly in place so it can't shift in transit. Plants don't mind a day in a dark box, so your green friend arrives home in perfect condition.
