The Olea Pom Pon needs quite a bit of water, mainly because of its size, and thirsty nature. The bigger the tree and pot, the more water it requires, especially in a sunny location. In summer, it evaporates more moisture, so the tree needs extra water. Watch out for excess water to prevent root rot!

The Olea Pom Pon is a real sun lover and thrives best in a sunny spot. In the Netherlands, the sun shines less than in its Mediterranean origins, which slows down its growth.
