Water requirements Calathea Insigne – 30 cm
The potting soil of the Calathea Insigne may be kept lightly moist on a regular basis, but be careful not to overwater the plant. Too much water can lead to root rot. Ideally, use a moisture meter for your plant.
It is also beneficial to mist the leaves regularly with a spray bottle. This keeps the humidity around the plant high.
Light requirements Calathea Insigne – 30 cm
The Calathea Insigne originally grows in the tropics of South America and the Amazon region, in the shade of large trees. For this reason, the plant does not tolerate too much (direct) light and prefers a shady spot in your home as well. In such a location, the leaves will stay at their best and the creation of new leaf patterns will be stimulated.
