The Monstera Monkey leaf, the official name for this playful houseplant is Monstera Adsonii, the brother of the well-known hole plant. This brother is different though: the leaves seem to be pierced in the middle, which makes the plant a real eye-catcher in any room.

The Monstera Monkey Leaf needs little care. The plant will remain a beautiful green if placed in a light spot. If you want to keep the plant's beautiful green colour, place it in daylight and not in full sun. The plant can survive in full sun, but you will have to water it more often and take into account that its colour will become lighter. Do the hole leaves grow into a real jungle? You can cut off the tendrils wherever you like, it will just keep on growing!

The Monstera Monkey Leaf is not a very thirsty plant but it is still a tropical variety. It likes a slightly moist soil, but as long as the soil does not dry out you will not have to water it again.
