The Zamioculcas is also known as the Emerald palm. This great houseplant originates from Zanzibar, Madagascar and Kenya but does well in Dutch living rooms.

The Zamioculcas is a very easy plant to look after. The plant stores water in its roots and thick leaves and therefore does not need water very often. Furthermore, the plant is not difficult when it comes to its location, it soon finds it just fine!
Water requirements Zamioculcas - 100cm
The Zamioculcas doesn't need water very often. This is because the plant stores the given water in its roots and leaves. In winter, the soil may therefore dry out for 4 weeks before watering again. In summer, this should be about 1 week.
Light requirements of Zamioculcas - 100cm
The Zamioculcas prefers a place in normal daylight. This way, the plant remains at its best. Try to avoid direct sunlight, as this can be too hot on the leaves. If the Zamioculcas is too dark, it will show this by no longer producing new leaves.
