Care & tips for the Yucca Aloifolia - 80 cm
The Yucca Aloifolia is a strong outdoor plant with a rugged look and sharply pointed leaves. It stands up to heat and drought and has plenty of character. The Yucca Aloifolia is only partly hardy and can stay outside through mild winters, as long as it has a sheltered spot. When frost sets in for longer, it is wise to protect the plant with a cover or bring it inside for a while.
How much water does the Yucca Aloifolia - 80 cm need?
The Yucca Aloifolia needs very little water. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, because this plant is used to dry conditions by nature. In winter you water it considerably less than in summer.
How much light does the Yucca Aloifolia - 80 cm need?
Give the Yucca a sunny spot, ideally in full sun. The more sun it gets, the better its leaf structure and colour develop. A place out of the wind helps to keep those pointed leaves from being damaged.
Is the Yucca Aloifolia - 80 cm toxic?
Yes, the Yucca Aloifolia is mildly toxic if eaten. The plant is also very pointed and sharp, so do take care around pets and children.
