The Taxus baccata is a strong, low-maintenance outdoor plant that's perfect for forming a neat, evergreen hedge. It grows slowly, so you won't need to prune often, but once you've shaped it well it stays beautifully compact. The plant is fully hardy and keeps its dark green needles all year round, even in the coldest months. For a dense hedge over 10 metres, we recommend planting around 25 plants (2.5 per metre).
