Schefflera Gold Capella, also known as the Finger Tree, is native to tropical Asia and Oceania, where it grows into an impressive tree in the wild.
Care & tips Schefflera Gold Capella braided trunk - 130cm
This striking houseplant with its fur-green, yellow-speckled leaves and decoratively braided stem is a real eye-catcher. The Schefflera Gold Capella is easy to look after and grows quite quickly in the right conditions. Make sure it is placed out of draughts and turn the plant occasionally to prevent crooked growth. Preferably give the plant some nutrition once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).

The soil of the Schefflera may feel slightly moist, but should certainly not be wet. Let the top layer of the potting soil dry well before watering again. In winter, the soil may even be slightly drier. Too much water quickly leads to yellow leaves or root rot.

This plant prefers a bright spot with indirect daylight. Direct sunlight can damage the variegated leaves, but too little light causes a loss of colour intensity. A spot near an east- or west-facing window is ideal.
