The Schefflera Amate is a strong and relatively easy houseplant. This graceful shrub with shiny leaves grows slowly and maintains its compact shape. Provide a position out of draughts and avoid temperature fluctuations. Occasionally wiping the leaves with a damp cloth will keep it shiny.

The Schefflera Amate likes slightly moist soil. Allow the top layer of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. In winter, the plant may be slightly drier than in the active growth period in spring and summer.
