Product Description
The cherry laurel ‘Novita’ is native to southeastern Europe and is loved for its dense growth and shiny green leaves.
Care & tips European cherry laurel - 130 cm
The large cherry laurel is a hardy outdoor plant that keeps its leaves all year round. This plant is ideal as an evergreen hedge or as a solitary on terrace or balcony. White flower spikes appear among the leaves in May and June, followed by graceful black berries in autumn. For a sleek and full hedge, you can easily prune the plant into shape; this also encourages new growth.
Water requirements: European cherry laurel - 130 cm
The European cherry loves a slightly moist, well-drained soil. Do not let the root ball dry out completely, but also avoid long periods of wet feet. Especially in summer, some extra water may be needed.
Light requirements Large cherry laurel - 130 cm
This cherry laurel is not the most difficult and does well in both full sun and partial shade. A sheltered spot out of the strong wind ensures that the leaves remain more beautiful. The more sun the plant gets, the more compact its growth tends to be.
Is the Big Cherry - 130 cm poisonous?
Yes, the Big Cherry is mildly poisonous. The berries and leaves in particular can be harmful if ingested. Avoid consumption and keep the plants out of reach of children and pets.
How will my Big Cherry - 130 cm be sent?
The large cherry laurel is delivered in a cultivation pot. All our green outdoor plants come directly from the grower and are shipped in a special way. We use an external courier who knows how to handle the plants so that your plants are delivered to your home tip-top.
