This graceful Japanese maple feels perfectly at home in a border as well as in a spacious pot on the patio or balcony. Sumi-nagashi has an upright, airy growth habit and adds colour and character to your garden all season long. It is fully hardy, but loses its leaves in winter. Preferably place it in a sheltered spot out of the wind to prevent leaf damage.
