The Aster “Prof. Anton Kippenberg” is a compact, richly flowering outdoor plant that is perfect for borders, rock gardens or pots. It blooms profusely in autumn with lilac-blue flowers and attracts butterflies and bees. This autumn aster is completely hardy and reappears every year. For beautiful, full growth, you can prune it back lightly in spring.

The plant likes slightly moist soil. Make sure the soil does not dry out, especially during the flowering period. Well-drained soil is important to prevent root rot in wet weather.
