The Yucca is a sun worshipper that needs little water. In winter, the Yucca Rostrata can be sensitive to moisture. Ensure good drainage in the pot and protect the plant from excess moisture in the wet months to prevent rotting.
Water requirements of the Yucca Rostrata - 60cm
Originally from dry areas, the Yucca Rostrata does not like too much water. This plant needs very little water, as it is a slow grower. However, it is important to check the soil weekly and make sure it does not dry out completely.
Light requirements of the Yucca Rostrata - 60cm
The Yucca Rostrata likes sun and tolerates direct sunlight well. Move the plant as little as possible, as it needs to get used to a new spot, which can disrupt its growth. The Yucca is hardy to -20°C, however, we recommend the use of special covers, cloths or bubble wrap to protect the plant in case of persistent frost.
