Product Description
The Yucca Rostrata is a special and sturdy appearance because of its unique shape. The crown containing long, bright green and large leaves of about 40 to 60 centimetres that stand straight up makes the Yucca Rostrate a real eye-catcher. These leaves grow from the inside outwards. When the outer leaves have had their best day, you can leave them hanging for a natural effect, but you can also cut them off to create a nice and tight effect.
Care and tips Yucca Rostrata - 100cm
The Yucca is a real sunbather and does not need much water. If you keep the Yucca Rostrata outside during the winter months, the plant may be a little sensitive to moisture. It is therefore important that the Yucca has a good drainage system in the pot so that excess water can drain away. It is also advisable to protect the plant from moisture during the wet months. Too much moisture can lead to rot and you want to avoid this!
Water requirements of the Yucca Rostrata - 100cm
The Yucca Rostrata originates from very dry areas and is therefore no fan of too much water. You don't need to water the Yucca Rostrata very often, it is a slow grower and simply doesn't consume much water. Do check the soil once a week and make sure it doesn't dry out completely.
Light requirements of the Yucca Rostrata - 100cm
The Yucca Rostrata likes sun and tolerates direct sunlight well. Move the plant as little as possible, as it needs to get used to a new spot, which can disrupt its growth. The Yucca is hardy to -20°C, however, we recommend the use of special covers, cloths or bubble wrap to protect the plant in case of persistent frost.
Is the Yucca Rostrata - 100cm a poisonous plant?
The Yucca Rostrata is not poisonous when touched, but consuming or nibbling the leaves can be. So be careful with curious pets and small children.
