The Aglaonema Cutlass is a strong air-purifying plant originating in the tropical rain forests of Southeast Asia. Here the plant lives in the shade of tall trees. For this reason, the Aglaonema Cutlass likes a semi-shaded spot in your home.
Care & tips Aglaonema Cutlass - 45cm
The Aglaonema Cutlass is not a difficult plant to take care of. Make sure not to place the plant in direct sunlight, as the leaves are sensitive to this. Place the plant in a spot with normal daylight and some shade now and then. In this way, the plant will remain at its healthiest and its leaves will remain beautifully coloured. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves and delay the production of new leaves.
Water requirements Aglaonema Cutlass - 45cm
Try to keep the soil of the Aglaonema Cutlass slightly moist but beware of too much water. Too much water can cause root rot and the plant may die. We recommend to feel with two fingers in the soil to know if it is already time for watering. If the soil is already very dry after two days, you can water your Aglaonema again. If the soil is still very wet after a few days, we advise you to wait a while. It is better for the soil to be a little too dry than too wet.
Light requirements Aglaonema Cutlass - 45cm
We recommend placing the Aglaonema Cutlass in a spot in normal daylight that is also shaded during the day, or even in a shady spot. Due to its origins in the tropics and its way of life here, the plant does not tolerate too much sunlight. If there is too much sunlight, the stems will grow hard with few leaves, or the leaves may burn on this tropical houseplant. Also, the leaf markings will fade and not be recreated. When the plant really lacks light and wants to receive more, it will show this by hanging its leaves. In this case, move the Aglaonema Cutlass to a brighter spot.
Is the Aglaonema Cutlass - 45 cm poisonous?
Yes, unfortunately the Aglaonema is poisonous. The sap that comes from the stems can cause skin irritation. Keep the plant at a safe distance from children and animals.
How is my Aglaonema Cutlass shipped?
