Originally the plant comes from Southeast Asia, but nowadays this palm can be found in almost all tropical environments. This palm can grow up to 12 metres in the wild! Due to its slow growth, this will not happen in your living room.

The Fishtail Palm likes plenty of water. Make sure the soil is always moist, but beware of a water surplus. Watering the leaves will benefit the plant. Especially in winter when the air is drier, the plant likes this.
