Strelitzia reginae, better known as the ‘Bird of Paradise Flower’, is a much-loved and iconic houseplant. Who doesn't know its beautiful flowers? Strelitzia reginae owes its nickname to its striking and exotic flowers, which are reminiscent of the colourful feathers of a bird of paradise. It is important to note that not every Strelitzia produces flowers; after all, it is a living creature that grows in its own way. The plant will not be able to flower until it is about seven years old.

Water requirements of the Strelitzia Reginae XXL
The Strelitzia Reginae is a large houseplant that needs a lot of water, especially in summer. Water so much that the soil is dry again after a week. Check the soil moisture regularly in the beginning. In winter, the plant uses less water, so water less often to prevent root rot.
