The Strelitzia Reginae is known for its amazingly beautiful orange and blue-coloured flowers, but not every Strelitzia Reginae will bloom. First of all, the plant will need to be four to five years old before it can flower. Proper care will increase its chances of flowering. The attention and energy you put into the Strelitzia Reginae will pay off in these amazing flowers!
Water requirements of the Strelitzia Reginae - 90cm
The Strelitzia Reginae is a large plant and so it also needs a lot of water, especially in the summer months. When watering, give the Strelitzia Reginae so much water that the soil is completely dry after about one week. Test this in the beginning by feeling the soil every other day after watering. If after three days you feel that the soil is already dry, give more water if necessary to keep the Strelitzia Reginae healthy.
