Like all Philodendrons, the Philodendron Xanadu is an easy houseplant. It doesn't drink much, but slightly moist soil does matter. How much you water changes with the season, so be careful not to give too much in the winter months. The sun is weaker then, the plant uses less water, and the rest stays behind in the pot. Water sitting in the pot can lead to root rot, so do watch out for that.

The Philodendron Xanadu doesn't need a great deal of water. What matters is that the soil always stays lightly moist. Check it at least once a week and top up if needed. In the first few weeks it's always a bit of trial and error working out how much and how often your new green friend wants watering. The frequency and the amount depend closely on the size of the pot, the plant and where the houseplant stands. Brown or yellow edges on the leaves of the Philodendron Xanadu are often a sign it has had too much water.
