The Strelitzia Nicolai is not a difficult houseplant to care for. With a little attention, you can go a long way. Just make sure you are aware of the correct care tips. The Strelitzia grows from the centre. The lower leaves are therefore the oldest and are also the first to become unsightly. Are the lower leaves of your Strelitzia not looking so good when it arrives? These are simply old leaves and can easily be pruned. This will help the plant to continue growing.
