Brighamia insignis, better known as the “Hawaii Palm”, is a tropical eye-catcher with a special story. This rare houseplant owes its name to its original home: the islands of Hawaii. In the wild, it is now endangered and can only be found in a few places.
Combined with the trendy Scott basket, the Hawaii Palm gives your interior a cool, but also soft and playful look. What makes this plant extra special is that - unlike most plants - it grows in winter. In the colder months, move it closer to the window so that it gets enough light to grow well.

The Brighamia Insignis “Hawaii Palm” is an easy plant that requires little care. Give your little palm some water every week and put it in a place with plenty of sunlight. It's normal for the Hawaii Palm to drop its leaves once in a while, this will shape the trunk of your little friend. Don't be alarmed its leaves will grow back soon enough. Due to the Hawaii Palm's thick trunk, the plant can easily survive several weeks without water.
