Care & tips for the Ogreen South America
The Ogreen South America plant mix is made up of four different tropical houseplants that together give your home a green, characterful look. The Adiantum Raddianum ‘Fragrans’ is an elegant fern that loves a humid spot. The Clusia Rosea Princess is a tough plant that needs little care. The Philodendron Atom is known for its compact, glossy leaves and is easy to look after. The Pteris Ensiformis ‘Evergreen’ is a graceful fern that likes a lightly humid spot. Give all the plants a position where they get indirect sunlight and keep them out of draughts.
How much water does the Ogreen South America need?
The Adiantum Raddianum ‘Fragrans’ likes constantly lightly moist soil, without its roots standing in water. The Clusia Rosea Princess needs lightly moist soil too, but copes slightly better with dry spells. The Philodendron Atom likes lightly moist soil and does well when the top layer has dried out a little before you water again. The Pteris Ensiformis ‘Evergreen’ wants damp soil and regular misting to raise the humidity.
How much light does the Ogreen South America need?
These tropical plants are happiest in a spot with indirect sunlight. Too much direct sun can damage the leaves, while too little light slows their growth down. A spot by an east or north-facing window is ideal. Keep the plants out of full sun to stop the leaves from scorching.
Are the Ogreen South America plants toxic?
The Clusia Rosea Princess and the Philodendron Atom are mildly toxic if eaten, which can cause irritation in pets and children. The Adiantum Raddianum ‘Fragrans’ and the Pteris Ensiformis ‘Evergreen’ are not toxic and are therefore safe around children and pets.
How is my Ogreen South America shipped?
All our houseplants are super fresh and come straight from the grower when we send them to you. We ship them in boxes we designed ourselves: a snug inner fitting keeps every plant firmly in place so nothing can shift in transit. Plants don’t mind a day in a dark box, so your green friends arrive home in perfect condition!
