The Aglaonema Maria has its origins in the tropical rainforests of South-East Asia, the Asplenium Nidus comes from the tropical forests of Japan, the Banana plant is originally from South-East Asia and Australia, and the Monstera Deliciosa comes from the rainforests of Central and South America.
Care & tips for the Ogreen Indoor Jungle
The Ogreen Indoor Jungle is a tropical plant package that creates a green oasis at home in an instant. The Aglaonema Maria is a tough houseplant that does well in partial shade and asks for little care. The Asplenium Nidus is known for its fresh, wavy leaves and wants lightly moist soil. The Banana plant is a fast grower that loves plenty of light and moisture. The Monstera Deliciosa is an iconic plant with those characteristic split leaves, and it thrives in a bright spot out of direct sunlight.
How much water does the Ogreen Indoor Jungle need?
The Aglaonema Maria needs regular water, with the soil kept lightly moist but never soggy. The Asplenium Nidus likes damp soil and appreciates regular misting. The Banana plant needs a lot of water, especially during the growing season, and should always sit in lightly moist soil. The Monstera Deliciosa likes lightly moist soil, but can dry out a little between waterings.
How much light does the Ogreen Indoor Jungle need?
The Aglaonema Maria prefers a spot with indirect sunlight or partial shade. The Asplenium Nidus feels at home somewhere out of direct sunlight, such as a shady corner of a room. The Banana plant loves plenty of light, but watch out for direct sunlight to stop the leaves from scorching. The Monstera Deliciosa thrives in a bright spot, though not in direct sunlight, to prevent leaf scorch.
Are the Ogreen Indoor Jungle plants toxic?
The Aglaonema Maria and the Monstera Deliciosa are mildly toxic if eaten, which can cause irritation in pets and children. The Asplenium Nidus and the Banana plant are not toxic and are therefore safe around children and pets.
How is my Ogreen Indoor Jungle shipped?
All our houseplants are super fresh and come straight from the grower when we send them to you. We ship them in boxes we designed ourselves: a snug inner fitting keeps every plant firmly in place so nothing can shift in transit. Plants don’t mind a day in a dark box, so your green friends arrive home in perfect condition!
