In our Clean Machine range you’ll only find plants that have proven in scientific tests that they can purify more than 7 m² of air and score above average on their air-purifying properties.

Care & tips for the Ogreen Musthaves

This gorgeous mix of plants isn’t hard to look after. Each plant in the package does have its own preferences when it comes to light and position, though. Here’s what to watch out for!

How much water does the Ogreen Musthaves need?

The houseplants in this set like lightly moist soil. Water them as soon as the top layer of soil feels dry. In summer they need a little more water than in winter. With the Monstera and the Clusia especially, take care that the soil doesn’t stay too wet, to prevent root rot. The Scindapsus and the Hedera Helix cope slightly better with drier conditions, but regular watering stays important.

How much light does the Ogreen Musthaves need?

This set is at its best in a spot with plenty of indirect light. The Monstera and the Clusia need a little more light, while the Scindapsus and the Hedera also thrive in partial shade. Avoid direct sunlight, especially for the Scindapsus and the Hedera, as it can scorch the leaves.

Is the Ogreen Musthaves toxic?

Yes, some of the plants in this set are mildly toxic if eaten, the Monstera and the Clusia in particular. Keep the plants out of reach of children and pets to avoid any problems.

How is my Ogreen Musthaves shipped?

All our houseplants are super fresh and come straight from the grower when we send them to you, and you’ll receive them in their nursery pots. We ship them in boxes we designed ourselves: a snug inner fitting keeps every plant firmly in place so nothing can shift in transit. Plants don’t mind a day in a dark box, so your green friends arrive home in perfect condition!
