Care & tips Orchid & Rhipsalis
These plants in basket look nice and are easy to look after. A win-win situation!
Orchid and Rhipsalis water requirements
Thanks to the handy watering system, you need to water less. Just make sure the soil of the plants is always slightly moist.
How it works.
Fill the water reservoir up to the indicated arrow. Make sure the water does not go above this line so that the orchid's roots are not in the water - this can damage the plant.
Place the water seeds in the bottom of the growing pot until the rod is completely gone. This is usually done beforehand.
Check the water threads and make sure they are well submerged. Thanks to these wires, the plants themselves absorb the water they need.
Keep an eye on the water level by removing the reservoir from the bowl every week. If necessary, top up water through the centre of the inlay.
Light requirements for Orchids and Succulents
These plants love being in daylight. Bright sunlight can be a little too hot, so be careful with this.
Are the Orchid and Succulent poisonous plants?
Unfortunately, the Rhipsalis is known to be poisonous. So watch out for this with small children and hungry pets.
