Product Description
The Nephrolepis Exaltata Montana, better known as the curly Boston fern, has its origins in the tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America, where it grows on damp forest floors.
Care & tips for the Nephrolepis Exaltata Montana hanging plant - 40 cm
The Nephrolepis Exaltata Montana is an easy houseplant that brings an instantly fresh look to your home with its full, curly fronds. This fern loves high humidity, so it feels right at home in the bathroom too. Keep it out of draughts and away from the dry air of a radiator. Remove old or brown fronds now and then to keep the plant full and healthy.
How much water does the Nephrolepis Exaltata Montana hanging plant - 40 cm need?
The potting soil of the Nephrolepis should stay lightly moist at all times. Don't let the soil dry out completely, because that can turn the fronds brown. It's better to water a little and often than to give a large amount occasionally.
How much light does the Nephrolepis Exaltata Montana hanging plant - 40 cm need?
The Nephrolepis Exaltata Montana likes a spot with plenty of bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can damage the delicate fronds and make them discolour. This hanging plant will also develop beautifully in partial shade, as long as it gets enough daylight.
Is the Nephrolepis Exaltata Montana hanging plant - 40 cm toxic?
No, the Nephrolepis Exaltata Montana is not toxic to pets or children. That makes this graceful hanging plant a safe choice for just about any household.
