Ficus Lyrata is a popular houseplant, thanks to its impressive leaves and easy care. It is also known as the tobacco plant, a name it got because of the shape of its leaves. In nature, this plant can grow up to 30 metres tall, but in an indoor environment, it will not easily reach such heights. The Ficus Lyrata is a fast grower, but even in the house it will grow within certain limits. When you have just purchased the plant, it may lose some leaves. Don't worry, this is perfectly normal as the plant adapts to its new environment. Moreover, this houseplant is a real sunbather and loves lots of light!
