Care & tips for the Ficus benghalensis cylinder - 160 cm
The Ficus benghalensis cylinder is a special houseplant with an elegant look. It asks for a bright spot and a bit of routine in its care. Turn the plant a little now and then so it doesn't grow lopsided. Bear in mind that this Ficus is sensitive to changes of position, so move it as little as possible. With good care it will keep growing steadily.
How much water does the Ficus benghalensis cylinder - 160 cm need?
The Ficus benghalensis likes slightly moist potting soil, but never with its roots standing in water. Let the top layer of soil dry out a little before you water again. In winter the plant can be kept a bit drier.
How much light does the Ficus benghalensis cylinder - 160 cm need?
Place the Ficus benghalensis in a bright spot with plenty of indirect sunlight. An east- or west-facing window is ideal. Avoid harsh direct sun in the afternoon, as it can scorch the leaves. With too little light, growth can slow and the plant may drop leaves.
Is the Ficus benghalensis cylinder - 160 cm toxic?
Yes, the Ficus benghalensis is mildly toxic. The sap can irritate the skin, and ingestion is best avoided by pets and children.
How is my Ficus benghalensis cylinder - 160 cm shipped?
This houseplant is delivered in a nursery pot. All our houseplants are shipped in boxes we designed ourselves: a snug inner fitting keeps the plant firmly in place so it can't shift in transit. Plants don't mind a day in a dark box, so your green friend arrives home in perfect condition.
