The Cycas Revoluta is a strong plant that requires little care. This palm-like plant grows slowly but stays compact, making it perfect for terraces or balconies. It prefers a sheltered spot out of the wind. The Cycas is moderately hardy and can tolerate some cold, but in frost, it is advisable to bring the plant indoors or protect it well with fleece.

The Cycas does not like wet feet. Make sure the soil dries out well between waterings. In summer, the soil can remain slightly moist, while in winter, watering should be greatly reduced.

Place the Cycas in a spot with plenty of indirect light or partial shade. A few hours of direct sunlight per day is fine, as long as it’s not all day. Indoors, it can also be placed near a south-facing window, provided it is protected from the harshest midday sun.
