Care & tips for the Calathea Lancifolia

Luckily, the Calathea Lancifolia isn't a difficult plant. Just make sure you know the right care tips.

How much water does the Calathea Lancifolia need?

The Calathea Lancifolia originally comes from the rainforest, so it loves a good drink of water. On average, this green houseplant needs water once a week. The soil around the houseplant can be moist at all times, so keep a close eye on it.

How much light does the Calathea Lancifolia need?

The Calathea doesn't need much light. Give this houseplant a spot in bright indirect light with mostly shade. Try to avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

Is the Calathea Lancifolia toxic?

Luckily, the Calathea Lancifolia is not toxic, which makes it a great match for pets and small children.

How is my Calathea Lancifolia shipped?

This houseplant is delivered in a nursery pot. All our houseplants are shipped in boxes we designed ourselves: a snug inner fitting keeps the plant firmly in place so it can't shift in transit. Plants don't mind a day in a dark box, so your green friend arrives home in perfect condition.
