Care & tips for the Phlebodium Blue Star - 20 cm
The Phlebodium Blue Star is a special fern with grey-green fronds that have a matt, bluish glow. This compact version is perfect for smaller spots around the home, such as a shelf or a windowsill. Keep it out of draughts and away from dry air – the odd misting helps keep the humidity up.
How much water does the Phlebodium Blue Star - 20 cm need?
The soil of the Phlebodium may feel lightly moist at all times. Don't let the potting soil dry out completely, but don't leave the roots standing in wet soil either. Small amounts of water spread across the week work best.
How much light does the Phlebodium Blue Star - 20 cm need?
This fern likes a bright spot with plenty of indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sun, because it can damage the fronds. A place in partial shade or a little further from the window is fine too, as long as there's enough daylight.
Is the Phlebodium Blue Star - 20 cm toxic?
No, the Phlebodium Blue Star is not toxic, which makes it a good fit for households with pets or children.
