The Schefflera Amate is a unique houseplant thanks to its beautiful leaves. This plant is nicknamed the “finger tree” because its leaves resemble hands with fingers.

Caring for the Schefflera Amate is not rocket science, and the plant is also a powerful air-purifying houseplant! However, it may be that the Schefflera is not entirely happy. You can often tell this by its leaves. When the Schefflera develops brown/yellow leaves and starts to droop, this is often a sign of a lack of sunlight. In this case, move the Schefflera to a lighter spot and it will recover on its own!
