The Alocasia Wentii originating from Southeast Asia will immediately draw attention in any room. This houseplant has large leaves that can grow up to a metre long. Due to these large leaves, the plant is often used in nature as an umbrella during tropical showers. The nickname 'Elephant ear' has been given to the plant because of its large leaves.

The plant originates from a tropical environment and likes it when the air is a bit more humid. To imitate this, it is good to spray the plant regularly. This will prevent unwanted visits from aphids to your Elephant ear. It is possible that the plant leaks some moisture onto the soil. Do not worry, this is a sign of a healthy Alocasia Wentii.
