Did you know that the Kentia Palm is known as one of the strongest palm species available? The Palm is a true green superhero when it comes to purifying the air. Moreover, the Kentia is not a difficult plant to look after. Place this tropical houseplant in a spot in normal daylight, give it the right amount of water and the plant will soon be happy in your home.

The Kentia Palm 130cm is not difficult to care for. Make sure that you do not completely forget about the plant; this tropical surprise also needs attention now and then. Make sure that you are well-informed about how you can best care for the Kentia Palm. As far as plant nutrition is concerned, we recommend that you only do this in the period from March to September. This is because the Kentia Palm is a slow grower and therefore does not need as much nourishment. We recommend half of the recommended amount. 

Make sure that the soil of the Kentia Palm - 130cm always remains slightly moist. Make sure that you do not over-water. This may cause the water to accumulate at the roots and cause root rot. Root rot is difficult to remedy, so it is better to prevent it.

The Kentia Palm likes a light spot but not direct sunlight. You might expect that due to its tropical background the palm would love some sunshine, but nothing could be further from the truth. The Kentia Palm does not grow any better in direct sunlight.

The Kentia Palm 130cm is non-toxic and therefore fits in with the list of child- and animal-friendly plants. You can therefore place it anywhere in your home with complete peace of mind.
