Make sure that the soil of the Kentia Palm is always slightly moist. Make sure that you do not give it too much water. This can flood the roots and cause root rot which in turn can cause the plant to die.
Light requirements for Kentia
The Kentia Palm likes a light spot but not direct sunlight. You might expect that due to its tropical background the palm would love some sunshine, but nothing could be further from the truth. Direct sunlight does not enhance the beauty of the Kentia Palm.
