The Syngonium Mottled grows in nature mainly at the bottom of tropical rainforests. The leaves are arrow-shaped and feature beautiful mottled leaf markings.
Care & tips Syngonium Mottled - 35cm
The Syngonium is a fairly easy plant to look after. Make sure you place it in a suitable spot and give small amounts of water regularly instead of one large amount. This way, your Syngonium will quickly feel at home. Also make sure the plant gets enough light; if it is too dark, it will show this by no longer developing new leaves.
Water requirements Syngonium Mottled - 35cm
The Syngonium Mottled has an average water requirement. Always keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid over-watering as this can cause root rot. Check the moisture by feeling in the soil with two fingers. If the soil still feels dry after two days, give the plant some water. If the soil is still very wet after a few days, wait a while before watering.
Light requirements Syngonium Mottled - 35cm
Place the Syngonium Mottled in a bright location, but avoid direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves and the production of new leaves will be delayed. So make sure the plant is not in front of a sunny window.
If the Syngonium Mottled gets too little light, it will grow towards the light. You will notice that the stems become long and crooked and that the plant produces few new leaves.
Is the Syngonium Mottled - 35cm poisonous?
Yes, the Syngonium Mottled is unfortunately poisonous if ingested. So be careful with small children and hungry pets.
