Schefflera Gold Capella Pyramid - 210cm

The Schefflera Compacta on stem - 50 originates from Australia but is nowadays often found in Dutch living rooms. The Schefflera is an easy-to-maintain houseplant that will quickly feel at home. In China, this houseplant is one of the most well-known and widely used plants. The plant's leafy fingers are said to hold positive energy, sending prosperity to its inhabitants.

The Schefflera Compacta on stem is not difficult to care for, although this houseplant does like a constant temperature of at least 12 degrees. In the summer, this houseplant can easily be placed outside, but in a sunny spot. The Schefflera Compacta on stem prefers a light place but not in direct sunlight for the entire day. Do make sure that the Schefflera is not placed in a draughty corner, as the houseplant could suffer from mealy bugs or other pests. Should this happen, spray the plant with water to remove all the unwanted guests.

The Schefflera Gold Capella is easy to take care of and requires little water. A slightly moist soil is best for this houseplant, but in winter the soil may dry out a little between waterings. We recommend that you check the soil every two days in the beginning to see if it is still moist. Regularly spraying the leaves with water will have a positive effect. The dust will disappear from the leaves and the sunlight will reach the houseplant better. Spraying also has a preventive effect against mealy bugs and other pests.

The Schefflera Compacta on rootstock prefers a light position but without too much direct sunlight. Three to five hours of sunlight is sufficient and will keep the plant happy. 

The Compacta on stem is unfortunately slightly poisonous. The sap from the stem and leaves can be irritating to the skin. So keep the plant out of the reach of children and pets.
