Philodendron Scandens 'Micans' originates from the jungles of South America. Here, the plant spreads out over the ground until it meets a tree and climbs it. This houseplant can therefore grow to a considerable height in the wild. Did you know that the name Philodendron is derived from two Greek words? Namely, philo (love) and dendron (tree), a true love tree. In addition to its beautiful, velvety leaves, this houseplant has a very air-purifying effect.

The Philodendron is easy to care for and grows reasonably quickly. The plant likes to be sprinkled occasionally. Because of its tropical origin it likes a slightly damp environment.
