This hardy outdoor plant is an ideal ground cover that requires little maintenance. The Cotoneaster Dammeri grows wide and forms a dense carpet of small, glossy leaves. It blooms with small white flowers in spring, followed by decorative red berries in fall. Pruning is hardly necessary, but can be done in spring or fall to keep the plant in shape.
