Alocasia regularly drips water from its leaves, which is called guttation. This is normal and unavoidable. Beware though, the Alocasia is a fairly tricky plant to look after. Water requirements for Alocasia

Elephant ears go limp when they get too little water. The Alocasia likes it when the soil is constantly slightly moist. Check regularly with your finger whether the soil is still moist.

Light requirements of Alocasia

Alocasia likes a lot of daylight. Make sure this large houseplant receives at least 5 hours of light a day. 

Is the Alocasia Portodora toxic?

The juice of the Alocasia can cause irritation on the skin and mucous membranes.
