Caryota Mitis, also known as the Fishtail Palm, is a unique palm that has a striking appearance due to its unusual leaves, which resemble a fish tail. Although this palm is native to Southeast Asia and grows in tropical areas, it will stay a bit smaller in your interior due to its slow growth. Care & tips Caryota Mitis - 120cm
The fishtail palm likes even humidity. Make sure the soil remains slightly moist, but not too wet. Spraying the leaves is also recommended, especially in winter when the air is drier. Since the fishtail palm is a tropical plant, it will be happy with extra humidity, promoting its health and growth.
Water requirements Caryota Mitis - 120cm
This pot is equipped with a wick system (Wick), which allows the plant to draw water up by itself when it is thirsty. You only need to refill the water reservoir from time to time and give the plant a suitable spot. Furthermore, the plant takes care of its moisture needs all by itself, which means less maintenance for you!
