Thanks to the raised base, you don't need to fill the pot right up with soil. For extra stability you can fill the bottom with sand and seal it with the special cap. Using the pot outdoors? Then don't forget to drill through the marking on the raised base for proper drainage. Please note: once drilled, the pot is no longer suitable for indoor use.
