How much water does the Strelitzia Reginae need?
The Strelitzia Reginae is a large houseplant and therefore a thirsty one, especially over the summer months. Give it enough water each time for the soil to be completely dry after about a week. Get a feel for this at the start by checking the soil every other day after watering. If it already feels dry after 3 days, give a little more water where needed to keep the Strelitzia Reginae healthy. In the winter months the soil can be a bit drier before the next watering, because the Strelitzia Reginae uses less water then. Be careful not to give too much water in winter, as that can lead to root rot.
