Green Bubble privacy policy

To carry out our activities, we process personal data. In some cases we work with third parties to do so. We consider it very important that personal data is handled with care. We therefore process and secure personal data carefully, and in doing so we comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, for example, that we:

- clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data. We do this through this privacy statement;
- limit the collection of personal data to only the personal data needed for the purposes for which it is processed;
- first ask you for your explicit consent to process your personal data in cases where your consent is required;
- do not pass your data on to third parties unless this is necessary to provide the requested service or we are legally obliged to do so;
- when we do share your data, make agreements with third parties to ensure, among other things, that it is not used for other purposes;
- take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, and require the same of parties that process personal data on our behalf;

Use of personal data
When you use our services, you leave certain data with us. This may include personal data. We do not always process all of the data listed below; this depends on which services you have agreed with us.

Depending on the services, we will process the following personal data about you:

- information you enter yourself in a free-text field, such as a message in the contact form
- login details
- CV
- cover letter
- IP address
- internet browser and device type

Purposes
We process the above data for one or more of the following purposes (depending in part on which services you use):

- Handling your enquiry, order and payment.
- Being able to call or email you if this is necessary to carry out our services.
- Informing you about changes to our services and products.
- Delivering goods and services to you.
- Direct marketing, for example sending our newsletter and/or promotional leaflet.
- Green Bubble analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website.
- Green Bubble also processes personal data where we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.

Provision to third parties
We pass the data you have provided on to third parties where this is necessary to deliver the products you have ordered or the services you have requested. When we provide your data to a third party, we ensure (among other things by means of a data processing agreement) that your data is not used for other purposes. We also agree that your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed. Beyond this, we will not provide the data you have given us to other parties unless this is required or permitted by law.

Security and retention
We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorised access to your personal data. For example, we ensure that only the people who need it have access to the data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are checked regularly. We do not keep data longer than necessary. This means we keep the data for as long as needed to provide the service you have requested, with the exception of data we are required by law to keep for longer. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us or via info@green-bubble.com. We have taken the following measures to protect your personal data: security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall. TLS (formerly SSL): we send your data via a secure internet connection. You can recognise this by 'https' and the padlock symbol in the address bar. Green Bubble uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. We use cookies with a purely technical function. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. These cookies are also used to keep the website working well and to optimise it. In addition, we place cookies that track your browsing behaviour so that we can understand how the website can be developed further. On your first visit to our website we informed you about these cookies and asked your consent to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. You can also delete all information previously stored via your browser settings. Cookies are also placed on this website by third parties, for example the social media companies.

Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems without a human being (for example a Green Bubble employee) being involved.

Accessing, amending or deleting your data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Green Bubble, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a file to you or to another organisation named by you. You can send a request to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@green-bubble.com. To make sure the access request has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and within four weeks at the latest.

Dutch Data Protection Authority
We would also like to point out that you have the option of lodging a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes to this privacy statement
We may amend this privacy statement from time to time. Changes will be published on our website. We never use your data for other purposes without your consent. We therefore recommend consulting this privacy statement regularly, so that you are aware of any changes. Entry into force: this (revised) privacy statement entered into force on 24 May 2018.
