Care & tips White World orchid (Phalaenopsis) - 70cm
The White World orchid is an easy houseplant to look after. Once it is placed in the right spot, you don't have to worry about it much! In the right conditions, you can enjoy this tropical houseplant for years.
Water requirements White World orchid (Phalaenopsis) - 70cm
You might expect this houseplant to require a lot of water because of its beautiful flowers, but this is not the case. Just keep in mind that the soil the White World orchid stands in always remains slightly moist. However, watering the orchid is slightly different from what you are used to. We recommend pouring the water only on the soil and never on the plant itself. Even better is to remove the White World orchid from the pot and put the entire root ball in the water for a few minutes. This way, the roots of this houseplant can absorb the water well and there will never be a layer of water in the pot. Do let the root ball drain well otherwise root rot may occur.
Light requirement White World orchid (Phalaenopsis) - 70cm
As already mentioned, you can enjoy this houseplant for years, provided it is given the right care and therefore position. The White World orchid likes a spot with lots of light but without direct sunlight. Direct sunlight is too bright and can even burn the leaves of this houseplant. Also make sure you keep this houseplant away from a heater and don't put it in a draught.
Is the White World orchid (Phalaenopsis) - 70cm a poisonous houseplant?
Fortunately, the White World orchid is not a poisonous houseplant. So you don't have to worry about where to place this houseplant.
Flowering of the White World orchid (Phalaenopsis) - 70cm
The White World Orchid is a Phalaenopsis and this means that this houseplant can flower up to 3 times a year, the flowering period of which is 2 to 6 months. Of course, this does depend on care and location.
You don't need to cut off the stems of the White World Orchid to get new blooms. However, if the stems become too long, you can cut them off and put the flowers in a vase.
