The Stick Palm likes a drink. Make sure that the soil is always slightly moist. Make sure that you do not give it too much water. This can cause water to accumulate at the roots, which can cause root rot. Root rot is often difficult to save, so try to avoid it.

Place the Stick Palm in a light spot but not in direct sunlight. Although it is a tropical houseplant, direct sunlight will not enhance its beauty. The palm does appreciate a spot with a few hours of shade during the day.
