The Pilea is not a difficult plant to look after. Place the Pilea in a light spot with not too much direct sunlight and the plant will soon be happy. Just pay attention to the right tips and tricks to enjoy your combo deal for as long as possible!
Water requirements for Pilea - 25cm
The soil of the Pilea should always be slightly moist. Be careful not to water too much. This can cause the water to sink to the bottom and stick to the roots. This can cause the roots to rot and is difficult to reverse.
You should therefore water the plant several times a week in small amounts rather than a large amount all at once. Check the soil regularly by feeling deep into the soil with your fingers. If it is dry here, you can give some water. If the soil is still wet here after a few days, wait a while before watering again.
Light requirements for Pilea - 25cm
The Pilea prefers normal daylight, without direct sunlight. Especially in summer, direct sun is actually much too hot for the plant. This can burn the leaves. Therefore, place the Pilea in a spot where the morning and evening sun mainly shines on it. The midday sun should be avoided.

No, the Pilea is fortunately not poisonous and is therefore considered child- and animal-friendly.
How will my Pilea be sent?
