The Senecio Himalaya is a graceful succulent with narrow, grey-green leaves that hang elegantly downwards. This compact plant works just as well indoors as outdoors, as long as temperatures don't drop too low. Feel free to stand it outside in a sheltered spot in spring and summer, then bring it back in come autumn. It's a tough character, so it needs very little care.

Being a succulent, the Senecio Himalaya stores water in its leaves, so it's quite happy standing dry for a while. Only water once the soil has dried out completely. In winter you can cut back further still.
How much light does the Senecio Himalaya - 20cm need?
The Senecio Himalaya likes a bright spot and copes well with direct sunlight. A sunny windowsill or a bright place in the garden is ideal. In the shade it soon loses its compact shape.
