The soil of the Peperomia can stay lightly moist at all times. Just be careful not to give it too much water. The plant may not be able to take it all up, and the excess will sit at the bottom of the pot. When that happens it can cause root rot, which is hard to recover from. So before every watering, push two fingers deep into the soil to check it isn't still wet down there. That way you avoid overwatering.
